about

Some general information about fanlistings, Gundam Seed, and "Anna ni Issho Datta no ni".

What is a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is a gathering or listing of people who share a common and specific interest, such as a sitcom, singer, song, etc. In this case, this is a fanlisting to the song "Anna ni Issho Datta no ni" from Gundam Seed.

What is Gundam Seed?
To be honest, I don't actually know much about the series. Basically, like all Gundam series, it's about a war. But this time, it's between "natural" humans and "coordinators", which are humans who are developed scientifically and genetically different, and thus slightly "better". There war's going on and it focuses on Kira, a coordinator who was located on a colony that was neutral, but naturals hid Gundams there, thus dragging the colony into the war. Kira has to pilot the Gundam to protect his natural friends, but he also has to fight his best friend, Athrun, who is a coordinator also. Unlike Gundam Wing, it's a very emotional series with a lot of character development.

What is Anna ni Issho Datta no ni?
Anna ni Issho Datta no ni is a song from the anime series Gundam Seed. To be techinical, it is the first ending song of the series, which is sung by the group See Saw.

The lyrics to the song are very beautiful and inspiring.

Why a fanlisting for this song?
I accidentally downloaded this song at a now defunct mp3 rotation called Say Bone. But since it was already on my computer, I gave it a shot. It was really pretty, but not something that stuck on my mind. Then my (new) computer crashed. The only real new thing I had on there that I wanted was a Do As Infinity picture (which I later re-found) and the song, but it didn't bother me.

Then I heard the song when I was flipping through channels and found that Cartoon Network was airing Gundam Seed and it got stuck in my head. I had to re-find the song (which was annoying) and fell in love with it. It's very pretty and slightly mysterious.

Why the name "Tsuki No"?
I was really stuck on a name for this FL, so I asked my good friend Rykea. She came up with the name "Tsukiakari" which means moonlight. However, I've been to a site with that name, and I didn't want to steal it. So I picked something close, which was "tsuki no". Tsuki means moon, which is commonly found in the lyrics of the song. "no" means the possessive "of" but goes infront of the word. So "Tsuki No" basically means "of the moon".
